What a website costs in Suriname, and what you get for it

Ask around and you will hear the same two words before every website price: it depends. At Webwerp it still depends, but only on how much site the business needs, not on how the conversation goes. Every size of a Webwerp Foundation is a fixed number, published, before you ever pick up the phone.

Three sizes, one build

Foundation comes in three sizes — Essential, Standard and Plus — and the difference between them is not "better" or "worse." It is how much site the business actually needs: how many pages, how many languages, and how much the site has to do on its own once it is live.

  • Essential, $650 — up to 5 pages, one language, 1 lead form, 1 round of revisions. A credible place to send people who already know the business.
  • Standard, $950 — up to 8 pages, English and Dutch, up to 3 forms, a Google Business Profile set up alongside it, 2 rounds of revisions. The size most businesses land on.
  • Plus, $1,300 — up to 12 pages, English and Dutch, unlimited forms, a blog or booking built in, 3 rounds of revisions, and a first quarter of Care included.

Every size is responsive, tracked with analytics from day one, and handed over with full access. The difference is only ever in scope, never in whether it is built properly.

The audit, and its credit

A Webwerp Audit is $450, one time. A written findings document covering positioning, website, SEO, conversion, lead capture, follow-up and analytics, with a priority list of what to fix first. The audit fee is credited in full against any tier or bundle you start within 90 days.

That means starting with an audit is never money spent twice. If the findings turn into a Foundation build inside that window, the audit fee comes straight off what you owe.

What the price does not include

Every Foundation price covers the build. It does not cover what the business keeps paying for after launch, because that is not Webwerp's to charge for:

  • Domain registration and renewal
  • Hosting
  • Platform subscriptions — whatever the site or store actually runs on
  • Paid tools the project needs, such as booking or email software
  • Advertising spend

You pay each of these directly, at cost. Nothing is marked up, and nothing is folded into the tier price to make it look bigger than it is.

Why a fixed price instead of a quote

A number you cannot see until you ask is not a price, it is the opening move in a negotiation. The three Foundation sizes cover most of what a business actually needs, so most projects match one of them exactly, at a number that is public before any call happens. Anything that falls outside all three still gets a fixed price, written down and agreed before work starts — it is only worked out case by case instead of read straight off a page.

What a two-day, very cheap site actually is

A site that goes live in two days is not a shortcut, it is a different product: a template someone else designed, with a logo and colours swapped in and your own text typed into the gaps left for it. Nobody looked at how your customer actually decides, because there was no time to. That can be a reasonable choice for a business that only needs a placeholder online, something closer to a business card than a system. It is not what a Foundation build is for. Every Foundation size starts with the customer's decision first, which is exactly why it takes longer than two days.
